Access path 

On inSync Management Console, navigate to  > My Account.

Storage Consumption

This area displays the total storage allocated and used in your organization.

License Consumption

This area displays details of the licenses that your organization has purchased and consumed. The total number of licenses that your organization has bought and the number of licenses that are currently in use is displayed under Consumer Details > Users field. The following table describes the fields in the License Consumption area.

Fields in License column	Description for Total column	Description for Active column
Total Users	Total number of users in inSync.	The total number of active users in inSync.
Device Users	Total number of users that have one or more devices associated.	Total number of active users that have one or more devices associated.
Office 365 and G Suite Users	The total number of the users that have an Office 365 and G Suite account associated. One Office 365 and G Suite User license consists of: Exchange Online One Drive  SharePoint Online Gmail and Google Drive Any one of these apps associated with a user is counted as one license.	Total number of active users that have an Office 365 and G Suite account associated.
Box Users	The total number of users that have a Box account associated.	Total number of active users that have a Box account associated.

Note: The difference in count between total created users and total active users is the number of preserved users for the corresponding data source.

To understand license consumption let’s consider the following example and scenarios:

Your organization has bought 800 device licenses, 100 G Suite licenses and 100 Box licenses. 

• Scenario 1 -
  • 800 users who are using only 800 device licenses
  • 100 users who are using only 100 G Suite licenses
  • 100 users who are using only 100 Box licenses
    In this scenario the total number of active users is 1000. Although inSync will allow you to create 1100 users, only 1000 users must be active and the remaining 100 must be preserved users.

• Scenario 2 -
  • 800 users who are using only 800 device licenses
  • 100 users who are using both G Suite licenses and Box licenses
    In this scenario, the total number of users is 900 because the second set of users are using 2 licenses each (1 G Suite license and 1 Box license).

• Scenario 3
  • 700 users who are using only device licenses
  • 100 users who are using device licenses, G Suite licenses and Box licenses 
    In this scenario, the total number of users is 800 because the second set of users are using 3 licenses each (1 device license, 1 G Suite license and 1 Box license).

• Scenario 4
  • 650 users who are using only device licenses
  • 80 users who are using device licenses, G Suite licenses and Box licenses 
    In this scenario, the total number of users is 800 but the number of active users is 730 and the rest 70 users are preserved users.
